Get to Know Me

I'm Kevin and I have a lot of interests.  What do you like?

This is my lovely wife and me on our wedding day.  So thankful for her in my life, daily making me a better me!

My purpose in this blog is to share thoughts, collaborate, create new ideas, post my crazy awesome ideas here and see if you and others think my thoughts are as ingenious as I think they are.  As you are beginning to be intrigued, continue to read and help me process and make sense out of what goes on in my head.  I cannot become a better person without the help of others and I invite you to be a part of my journey in life.

I am the type of person to be interested in many things and good at a handful of them yet a master of nothing, although I seemingly talk as though I am (feel free to bring my back to reality gently).  I hope that you will see a love for people and my love for Jesus in all that I write.  Thank you for your time in reading this and continue to learn more about me and who God has created me to be, as I learn this too.

What I enjoy, my hobbies, my interests, my passions... Me
I am passionate about Jesus, people and Technology and I love seeing when and how those intersect.  I am somewhat of a nerd and can be a little snobby when it comes to Apple products.  I have a Late 2008 Macbook (got it 1 month before they released the silver unibody Macbook... I was quite sad).  I just recently got an iPad and iPhone, saving and waiting for them.  I am not an impulse buyer, but the things I enjoy the most also cost the most.... Good thing I like to save money!

I am a Close-Up Magician and love entertaining people and helping them enjoy themselves.  To see someone with a look of shock on their face, knowing that I caused it, is priceless.  This also furthers conversation about deeper, more meaningful things.  I look forward to developing stories that incorporate meaningful thoughts and magic to help people along their spiritual journey.  Think me weird, that's fine, but I believe we are all on a spiritual journey and all of us will end standing in front of Jesus Christ.  The question we will hope we have answered is: Do I know, believe, trust, and accept Him?

I grew up playing soccer- defense, midfield, and always wanted to be a striker, I scored most of my goals from center midfield.  I also did music: Upright bass and Percussion.  I marched through high school playing Bass Drum for two years and Tenors (quads) for two.  I was drum line captain my senior year and Varsity Captain of my soccer team senior year.  I learned that although I didn't pursue a place of leadership, God put me there for reasons I didn't understand.  In understand them now, I know what to do because I didn't do it then.
